Greencrop (AAS 1957) is a few days later than Florence and the plants produce a heavy yield of long (8”) flat pods. The seeds are white and fairly large so would likely be good as a dry bean as well.Beans / Green Beans

Cherokee Trail-of-Tears is named for the forced migration, in the winter of 1838-39, of the Cherokee from Tennessee to Oklahoma in the course of which several thousand died. It has vigorous plants that give a heavy yield of slim pods somewhat shorter than the other varieties listed here. Green pods turning purple as they mature will develop strings if they are not picked promptly. Seeds are glossy black and can also be eaten as a dry bean.Beans / Pole Beans / Snap Beans
