The peas listed here are mostly bush varieties, with a few exceptions. Edible podded peas can be narrow, fat, crunchy pods, which are snap peas, or wide flat pods, which are snow peas. Both are delicious eaten raw or used in stir fries but generally snap peas are more commonly eaten raw and snow peas are more commonly used in stir fries and asian cooking.

Amish Snap has 4’-6’ vines and plump pods, and apparently comes from the Amish community of Lancaster County, PA.

Bohemian snow pea has tall vines with flat wide pods and tan seeds speckled with purple. Brought to Saskatchewan from Eastern Europe a couple of generations ago.
