Edible Podded Peas

The peas listed here are mostly bush varieties, with a few exceptions. Edible podded peas can be narrow, fat, crunchy pods, which are snap peas, or wide flat pods, which are snow peas. Both are delicious eaten raw or used in stir fries but generally snap peas are more commonly eaten raw and snow peas are more commonly used in stir fries and asian cooking.

Sugar Ann

Sugar Ann (AAS 1984) starts producing toward the end of June. The plants are small so total yield is not great, and its quality is not as good as some of the later varieties.
