Locoweed – Yellow

Yellow Locoweed (probably Oxytropis campestris or perhaps Oxytropis sericea) is a grey-green native legume with upright spikes of creamy yellow flowers in early summer. Can cause selenium poisoning if eaten by livestock. For best germination, scarify seed or seed outdoors in fall.
