We are offering two edible seeded varieties. They have large flowers that fade in about 24 hours, and large seed heads. We had to drop the Pink Poppy this year as we had troubles with germination. If you ordered a packet and also had troubles please let us know and you are entitled to a credit.
This is a bread seed poppy that originates from Ziar, Slovakia. It has very light lavender flowers and large, round, seed pods with closed vents so the seed doesn’t fall out like other poppies, limiting the prolific self-seeding capabilities.Other Seed Crops / Poppy/Papaver / Flowers and Decorative Plants / Annual Flowers
Mary’s Poppy has predominately mauve flowers with a few pinks. Seed capsules are elongated in shape. The valves remain closed when mature.Other Seed Crops / Poppy/Papaver / Flowers and Decorative Plants / Annual Flowers
The Persian (White-Flowered) poppy has white seeds and they are used just like the grey seeds in poppy seed cake or on rolls.
